There are no exact amounts for this recipe. It all depends on how many pear halves you want. The traditional version calls for mayo, but I prefer sour cream.
Canned pear halves, drained
Sour cream (or mayo)
Finely shredded cheddar cheese
Maraschino cherry, halved
Arrange your drained pear halves on a serving dish. Place a dollop of sour cream in the center of each. Top with a little shredded cheese and finish with a cherry. Enjoy!
